Ondine Appel

Ondine is a native New York City vocalist and hospitality expert with a background in both the performing and visual arts. Initially in the dance department at Connecticut College, she graduated with dual degree in Art History and Theater, and started her career in the art world, which soon lead her back to theater and music.
The combination of a keen artistic sensibility and performance lent itself perfectly to event production. Over the past two decades, in addition to performing, Ondine has had a prominent career as an event planner for some of the most beloved restaurants and catering companies in Manhattan, such as il Buco, Cleaver Co, Tribeca Grill and Maman. She also continues to freelance for a select group of private clients on occasion as an event planner and private home caterer.
Throughout her professional career in hospitality, Ondine has never strayed far from music, performing in notable clubs and venues throughout NYC, such as Symphony Space, Mezzrow, Smoke, Zinc Bar and Pangea, as well as for private galas and events at venues such as the Four Seasons, Daniel, Hermes and Alliance Francaise. She's also had the opportunity to perform internationally in Calabria, Italy at the Altomonte Blues Festival for several years.
Other notable freelance work and passion projects include teaching Yoga (Certified Integral Yoga Teacher), curating art exhibits, collaborating with and supporting fellow visual and performing artists and creative writing.
She often assists other creatives with capturing content and editing and regularly participates in downtown writing salons.
