Ondine is a native New York City vocalist with a background in both the performing and visual arts. Initially in the dance department at Connecticut College, she graduated with dual degree in Art History and Theater, and started her career in the art world. But after a few film classes at SVA, she found herself slipping back into theater and filmmaking, and as often is the case, a parallel and successful career in hospitality was soon born!
The combination of a keen artistic sensibility and performance lent itself perfectly to event production. And over the past two decades, in addition to performing, Ondine has had a prominent career as an event planner for some of the most beloved restaurants and catering companies in Manhattan, such as il Buco, Cleaver Co, Tribeca Grill and maman.
Throughout this time, Ondine has continued to pursue music, performing in notable clubs and venues throughout NYC, such as Symphony Space, Mezzrow, Smoke, Zinc Bar and Pangea, as well as for private galas and events at venues such as the Four Seasons, Daniel, Hermes and Alliance Francaise. She's also had the opportunity to perform in Calabria, Italy at the Altomonte Blues Festival for several years.
These days her two other greatest passions (in addition to singing) are collaborating with and supporting other visual and performing artists. She often assists fellow creatives with curating art exhibits, editing album liner notes or capturing content. And writing! Ondine often participates in downtown poetry readings and is currently working on various music and writing projects.
